Wave of manifestation #1
This is one of a planned series of works related to manifestation or creation, taking place from the most internal part of ourselves that at the same time connects us with the larger aspects of life. We can call it cosmos, God or life itself.
I am a believer that whatever we create or make of our lives is something that we channel from around and above us, more than a mere individual decision. By this I don’t think that we are not individuals, by the contrary, we ourselves manifest in our unique way, different possibilities of existing in this complex and diverse universe. Every experience is unique, but at the same time, we all share things in common and that is what brings each other into connection.
Like waves, all energy that surrounds us influences the way we bring our lives into fruition. We emanate and influence this energy, consciously and unconsciously, in one way or another. When we become aware of this phenomena and acknowledge it by engaging with it, we become part of the creative act of constructing our collective and individual reality in a way that is more aligned with what we value.
The idea of this painting came to me spontaneously as I was taking a break from working in something else. More drafts came along with this one, I arbitrarily choose to start with this one. As these images came to mind, I felt sort of a deep ancestral connection with something I haven’t experienced before. Some might relate the colours and imagery to my Mexican ancestry. Personally, I don’t relate it to any place or story, since the energy I experience in my heart at the moment of receiving it was universal, not linked to any culture in particular. But I am curious to hear what people of different cultural backgrounds would say about it.
